New Maid

As of Monday 18th October we now have employed a new maid.

Mercy is 36 has a 11 year old daughter and takes care of her mother

I can say so far we have been very happy with Mercy her cooking skills are fantastic in one week she has used the pressure cooker once and that was because the meat needed it!

cooking meat in the fry pan the way it should be done gives a whole different flavor to the

meal our tummies and taste buds are very happy indeed.

Mercy's cleaning skills are very good even had the window sills cleared of dust that had built up over the months this Monday she will be starting a cleaning roster that I have written out for her to follow for each day.

The only thing that she seems to have a problem with is the washing that is something I will have to teach her about modern technology has no idea how that works or the dryer never used one before

I have shown her how it works but not going to happen looks like I need to do the washing and drying with her until she understands how these machines work.

I shall be a teacher next week that will be interesting its hard enough trying to communicate in English let alone in my slang my driver has trouble understanding me they can understand Meg'z and Mark but not me so that is something I have to keep in mind and to speak clearer not Ozzy slang I just forget sometimes!!

I think the hardest thing is when you ask do you understand the reply is "yes Mam"

Well it seems I was wrong about Mercy knowing how to use the washing machine!

Went out for the day when I returned all the washing was complete so she can use the washing machine without supervision hmmm...

I have been unable to go out and about for a while due to my neck and back giveing me grief I'm guessing thanks to the constant jerking stoping and starting and a few bumps here and there.

Something else that has contributed to my pain.

Going to the Petrol station to fill the car...

Suresh gets out of the car and waits while the petrol pump person fills the car before this is

compleat they both grab hold of the car and start rocking it from side to side it's funny

Not really as I pay the price... ..after they rock the car they fill it a bit more then rock it again

Apparently they do this to enable them to fit more petrol in the car!!!

What its liquid not sand

I am going to physio for the next 7 days and there will be no more rocking of the car!!!!!
