Ideal Beach Resort

mark,megan and my self went with the kuhn's to ideal beach resort on a stinking hot day but it was still nice, i enjoyed swimming in the pool ans i had a great time.

Flight Delayed Due to ????

Patience young grasshopper. My date to travel over for the start of our Indian journey has been delayed by a week due to an overlap with a colleague. We would have been over in Chennai at the same time but program requirements have meant that my trip has been postponed for a week.

On the positive side it gives me another week at home with the family and more time to finish off another couple of tiny jobs that should be completed now. The side gate that we built two years ago was beginning to show signs of rust so out with the red oxide on that, that needs another coat and then painting white again. The railings on the new deck, which are only 12 months old needed another coat of oil, so that needs finishing off. Off to Bunnings on Sat. by the looks for more paint. Then the sheds need a clean out, I've been putting that off.....maybe Gayle will do that while I'm away. It's hard to throw away good junk, if there is such a thing!!

On The Way to Work

When I was over in Chennai in October '09 traveling to work in the morning came across these guys hitching a lift. They must have missed the bus. Hope the guy sitting on the tailgate was holding on tight. Hard to see but the traffic was bumper to bumper most of the time. Great to have a driver, just sit back take in the sights and read the paper.
